Kris Flanagan, who was enjoying an evening with his buddies at Andy & Stephanie Klassen's, was confronted by a mile distant terrifying cloud as he stepped outside shortly after 8PM.

Known to be a practical joker/story-teller, the others didn't believe him when he made a mad dash back into the house to warn them. When Andy took a look there was no doubt in his mind they were all in immediate danger. Within minutes the twister hit the yard as they sought shelter in the basement. The roar was deafening, their ears started popping and breathing was next to impossible as all went strangely calm and the air was sucked out of their lungs and the house.

After what seemed like hours, the air returned and they could hear items being propelled at the house above them.

When calm returned, they ventured outside to find everything but the house destroyed. Kris found his car impaled with shards of wood and shingles embedded in its seats. Wood was also driven into the side of the house. The attic insulation was everywhere but where it should be. Grain bins were knocked down or damaged, trees were twisted, shredded and snapped. It was unbelievable, and it was a miracle they were alive.

Like the others hit by this horrible storm, Klassens didn't have enough insurance to cover damage of this magnitude, and like Bruce & Joyce, they are finding the house is damaged far more than what was first visible.
